Samantha Kingston has everything. Then, everything changes. After one fateful night, she wakes up with no future at all. Trapped into reliving the same day over and over, she begins to question just how perfect her life really was.
When Sam wakes up in the morning, she discovers that it’s February 12th all over again. She relives the day, teasing Juliet as usual, but reflects on her actions. She dies again that night, but wakes up again to find it’s still February 12th.
Sam begins unraveling the mystery of this strange situation. She discovers that Lindsay and Juliet were best friends up until fifth grade, when Lindsay wet her bed at camp. She pinned it on Juliet, and from then on Lindsay acted like a bully.
Sam attempts to prevent Juliet’s suicide. She takes Juliet aside at the Cupid Day party to talk about what she knows. The two girls end up in the street, where Juliet jumps in front of a car again. Sam pushes Juliet out of the way at the last second and dies once and for all, her good deeds flashing before her eyes.
